Welcome from the Schertz Chamber of Commerce!
L to R: Robin Thompson – Member Liaison
Maggie Titterington – President
Jana Volitis – Executive Administrative Assistant
Established on June 28, 2005 with 29 founding Members, today we are over 300 Members strong and growing! Serving the communities of Schertz, Cibolo and Selma, the Schertz Chamber acts as a catalyst for business and community alike and is committed to the growth of our Member businesses and supporting small business entrepreneurship. We do this through local and state advocacy; providing education in business, and creating opportunities to market and network.
Our monthly events include luncheons, mixers and Biz Ed classes. Specific marketing opportunities are offered through our business directory, website listings, and individual business Chamber websites. We also provide Membership stats and “likes” through our social networking as well as inclusion of marketing and promotional items in our Welcome Bags and Visitor Center.
Through special committees and programs such as our Ambassadors, hYPer (young professionals group) and SCOC Leadership CORE program, we give our Members the unique opportunity to not only learn the qualities of great leadership but also actively participate within the Chamber process to build stronger ties with new and upcoming businesses as well as forge business to business partnerships.
The Schertz Chamber of Commerce is also about the community. Through partnering with our Chamber cities in their annual events as well as hosting Meet the Candidate forums, Health and Wholeness Fairs and Taste of the Town, we help businesses connect to their consumers as well as open the door of communication for resident to business owner. The Chamber also gives back to the community through fundraisers such as our annual Golf Classic, BBQ lunches and food drives and donated to organizations such as DECA, Schertz Area Senior Center, RACAP Food Pantry and Project Graduation.
The Schertz Chamber of Commerce is not a department of the City, county, state or federal government but a non-profit 501C-6. We are fiscally supported by our Members, who in doing this, are investing not only in the local community but also their fellow business men and women as well.
Stop by our Chamber, located at 1730 Schertz Parkway, call us at 210-566-9000 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out how you can become a Member today!
