    The Schertz Chamber of Commerce produces yearly events that are geared to promote local businesses while providing the community with information, hands on experiences as well as networking opportunities.


    January 31, 2015- Health & Wholeness Fair

    Baptist Emergency Hospital Presents the 2015 Health and Wholeness Fair –With presenting sponsor Pawderosa Ranch Doggie Play & Stay. Come find new ways to get fit and stay healthy through all four aspects of whole health: mental, physical, spiritual, and nutritional.  60 vendors and medical professionals will provide information, free health screenings and give-aways to our local residents. This event will be held at the Schertz Civic Center. 1400 Schertz Parkway.

    SCOC Leadership CORE Jan 2015 through June 2015-Schertz Chamber of Commerce Leadership CORE stands for Community, Organization, Reciprocation, and Education – all of which are key factors in preparing leaders of tomorrow. SCOC Leadership CORE is designed to be a series of information-oriented forums, experiences, and exposure to different facets of community, all of which are based on the belief that knowledge is a key element and prime motivator of leadership. This program is offered yearly, is six months in length, to include a Saturday retreat prior to the beginning of classes. Classes are the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30am to 5pm. 

     

     

     

    March 19, 2015 - The Taste

    HEB Presents the 2015 SCOC The Taste: All American – Your tastebuds will come alive as you sample our areas best in restaurants and food and beverage providers! A yearly theme increases the fun as vendors participate in booth decorating and themed food items. Trophies and prizes are awarded in “Best of” categories. This event will be held at the Schertz Civic Center 1400 Schertz Parkway. Please call the Schertz Chamber for ticket sales information or to get vendor registration information! Ticket prices are $10.00 for Children (ages up to 12) Military and Seniors (ages 60+) and $15.00 for General Admission. Children 2 and under are free.
     

     

      

    Spring Fling Fiesta!

    Schertz Chamber’s Spring Fling Fiesta will begin on April 16th running through April 26th. Visit the 21 participating businesses for a chance to win $500!

    *Playing sheets will be available beginning April 13th.

     

     

    April 23, 2015 - Meet the Candidates in Selma

    The SCOC Presents the 2015 Meet the Candidates Forum- Held from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Selma City Hall. An open forum for area residents to ask their questions to those running for council. A moderator will present written questions to all candidates, allowing those seeking public office within our Member cities and county the chance to disclose their position. Free to the public.

     

    May 14, 2015 - Schertz Shoot Out           Registration Form 

    Schertz Bank & Trust Presents the 2015 Schertz Shootout Speed Networking Event- heard of speed dating? This is speed networking for the business professional! Join up to 100 business professionals in an evening of food, fun and information. Get your “elevator speech” for what your business provides down to a 15 second sound byte! The Shoot Out will be held at the Schertz Civic Center 1400 Schertz Parkway. Contact our office for more information regarding this event. 

     

     
     

    July 18, 2015 - Home Living Showcase          Registration Form

    GVEC Presents the 1st Annual SCOC Home Living Showcase! This event will be held at the Schertz Civic Center from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Contact the Chamber Offices for more information.

    Caterpillar Presents the 2015 SCOC Golf Classic – help us to raise funds to scholarship our DECA programs at Samuel Clemens and Steele High Schools. A day of golf, silent auction, raffles and more awaits you and your team. Lunch, shotgun scramble and dinner and awards afterwards complete the day.
