We will be hosting 3 Post Budget meetings in August where you’ll get an in-depth look at the proposed budget and see how staff is moving to address suggested priorities in the coming year.
Based on the feedback received from a citywide survey conducted last November, the following were identified as priorities for the City to improve on: road maintenance and expansion, park maintenance, new trails and recreation activities, improved code enforcement, Fire Station #3, Police services, and stormwater and drainage services. These areas will be looked to while the FY 2017-18 Budget is put together.
Community input is an important part of the budget process, and your feedback helps provide valuable direction for City Council and City Officials. Go to Schertz.com for more information. We look forward to hearing from you!
